Case Study:

Bradley Creek Marina

Bradley Creek Marina is a boat storage and docking business with an impressive facility in Wilmington, North Carolina, that includes a fully functional bath house and a clubhouse that’s available to rent for social gatherings.

Bradley Creek Marina asked Sage Island to redesign its website to not only be an easy-to-use resource for members, but also a marketing device to help grow the marina’s membership.

Editable wet slip availability map.

Our design team created a simple graphical representation of Bradley Creek Marina’s piers. We numbered the wet slips and indicated which of them were available to rent, and those that were still available for purchase. Our development team then programmed the map to allow the client to easily make edits as the number of open wet slips changes.

Engaging images.

One of the marina’s major selling points is its ideal location, with beautiful sunset views over the salt marshes and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway. To convey this to potential renters and slip owners, our designers optimized the web drone footage already provided by the client and programmed it in as a looping video in the homepage slider.

Attention-grabbing videos.

Our designers also made use of the photography that the client had readily available from a recent shoot, arranging the images in a collage on the homepage underneath the slider video for added visual appeal. We gave the collage a subtle animation to engage the user’s eye.

The result for Bradley Creek Marina is an engaging and fresh website that captures the attention of boat lovers all over the coast.
