Digital Marketing Manager

Want to move to the beach or work from home? Sage Island is seeking someone who is both digital marketing savvy and a creative thinker to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. In this position you will work closely with other digital marketers, copy writers, graphic designers, programmers, and account executives to develop result-driven digital campaigns that will help our clients meet their online marketing goals. You will play a critical role in the continued growth and success of our customers. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll build, and execute PPC strategies for multiple clients on multiple channels, including Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and many other major media platforms.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is strategic with excellent attention to detail. Successful candidates will have a portfolio of past PPC campaign strategies and documented outcomes as well as a thorough understanding of each of the levers that a digital marketer can pull to fully optimize a campaign. You ideally have 5 years of digital marketing experience within an agency environment. You are a hardworking, creative self-starter with an innovative attitude, with validated ability to successfully drive complex issues through analysis and resolution. You’re a team player who enjoys helping others fix problems, strategize, and succeed. You have a passion for marketing and are constantly reading industry blogs and trying to improve your digital marketing skill set.

Responsibilites:

  • Strategize, build, and execute PPC strategy for multiple clients on multiple platforms.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, monthly budgets, negative keywords, campaign targeting and other important account metrics.
  • Research, create and manage large keyword lists.
  • Monitor and evaluate search activity across all major channels.
  • Provide creative copy suggestions and ad templates.
  • Provide recommendations for A/B testing, keywords, structuring, targeting and other facets of digital advertising designed to meet client goals.
  • Generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics and goals tracking.
  • Keep pace with search, PPC and social industry trends and developments.
  • Work with designers and developers to provide landing pages and image ads that meet campaign objectives and client expectations.
  • Although you will not be a main point of contact for clients, you must be able to communicate clearly with clients as needed.
  • Support the organization’s digital strategy development, SEO best practices, keyword research processes and search engine requirements and updates.
  • You will work with the latest marketing software including marketing intelligence, workflow automation and marketing automation.

Qualifications/Requirements:

5+ years’ experience as a marketer and/or experience managing paid search and social campaigns across various platforms. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred. Candidate must be Google Ad and Analytics certified. Marketing automation and SEO experience is a plus. Experience with all major social platforms is a must.
