Low Country Landscaping, Inc., provides exceptional landscaping, outdoor living spaces, and maintenance services to clients in Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Figure Eight, Hampstead, Leland, Carolina Beach, Bald Head Island, and in other surrounding areas.
In each of his projects, Scott Hinson prefers to incorporate local elements to beautify the outdoors while falling back on his southeastern North Carolina roots.
THE CHALLENGE
Low Country Landscaping needed a website that would highlight its best work and yet show potential clients how flexible the company was when it came to custom landscaping and living space. Scott also works closely with his wife, Nicole, and her interior design business, Low Country Interiors. The couple wanted the two websites to complement each other without detracting from their separate identities.
THE SOLUTION
Fresh and detailed design.
Since the client’s style is to enhance an outdoor space by simply adding to the appeal that already exists, our web designers went with a clean layout and navigation that’s easy to follow. The main draw needed to be the portfolio and content, so colors like tan and green on top of neutral backgrounds really help those elements stand out.
Seamless navigation.
A lengthy navigation menu can be a turn-off to potential clients browsing for a new landscaper, so we strategically grouped together Low Country Landscaping’s web pages to make each element easier to find. This way, users can jump straight to the service or component they want to check out, or peruse the site at their leisure with ease.
A stunning portfolio.
The most important aspect of a website showcasing an artist’s work is the portfolio. As such, we made sure to bring Low Country Landscaping’s out and highlight it better on both the home page and on the landing page itself. The client had already kept a great record of past projects, complete with high-resolution photos, so our designers could incorporate these into the new website’s layout and making sure they were visible and easily accessed.
THE RESULT
Low Country Landscaping now has an oasis of a website that promotes who they are and what they do, as well as a unique and distinctive brand that can be used across all marketing platforms.
